Perfection lies in the untamed visions of our mind. Though often said to be timeless, our notion of perfection, our ideal, emerges from what has already escaped us. It is a fugue. An absolute radiance that shines in the very instant we lose hold and understanding of it. Grace and Beauty are everything but our creations and their mere representations morph faster than the flow of time - unceasingly enriched by what we experience, before it even reaches the conscious mind. For this reason, we never truly think or rationalize Beauty but take it straight to heart. Hence, many hate Beauty these days; they invoke intellect but simply cannot bare the loss of control.
I realise now that do not understand things, let alone control them. We will never touch time and perfection is ever so out of reach.
It was not only dissatisfaction driving me. I think I needed to spend a year and a half on a single piece of music to choke its primary nature. Losing sight of what I first loved, only to find it back, again and again, like a broken Phoenix I would then love again. It was not vain perfectionism, or obstinacy. Through doubts and delusions, with time, an equilibrium was naturally reached, I landed, there was a home. These pieces are not compositions, they are layers of many truths. Endless cycles always and their asymmetries.
